Description The result of a collaboration between Celso Pereira of Vertice fame and Jorge Alves, both passionate wine makers, Quanta Terra was created in the 1990s and has been perfected vintage upon vintage. The red grapes for this wine come from the schist terraces of the Tua valley in the Corgo Cima. The wine spends 12 months in french oak and gives rich, ripe flavours of dark plum, cocoa powder and raspberry. Very creamy on the finish, with a lush note of milk chocolate. This wine pairs wonderfully with pork and game dishes, also mushroom risotto. 90 points Robert Parker
