Description A bright and breezy style of white wine from a small appellation north of Lisbon called Alenquer. Produced from traditional local varieties, Arinto and Fernão Pires, this refreshing wine is full of lively ripe citrus and plum fruit. The wine has an exuberant floral aroma with notes of white fruit and citrus with a saline note characteristic of the terroir. Both grape varieties are harvested at night followed by cold maceration and a few hours of pressing. The clarification of the must takes place by 48 hours of cold decanting. Fermentation is with indigenous yeast and the wine is aged in concrete tanks for four months.
